Moooi

-Altdeutsche clock-
"Checking the time will never be the same with Studio Job’s Altdeutsche Clock, a playful interpretation of old Frankish furniture holding all its beauty and atmosphere. A Studio Job souvenir is hidden in a secret compartment of the clock. A treasure to be found…"

-Big Ben-
"With time constantly ticking away in our pockets, on our wrists and computer screens the use of wall clocks has almost been forgotten. We still admire works of art and architecture like the Big Ben that help us tune into London’s time and space, but our personal daily time, the seconds and minutes we spend working and socializing, have become as small as our pockets and as abstract as our computer screens. Big Ben by Marcel Wanders helps us regain consciousness of time’s weight. So why not give it an important position in our living space? Why not go for a giant, decorative, iconic wall clock to give time our own, personal dimension?"

-Delft blue-
"Marcel Wanders designed a collection of ceramic vases for Moooi, all vases are produced and decorated at 'Royal Delft', a Dutch company dating back to 1653 and the original producer of the beautiful Delft Blue ceramics. The vases are reinterpreting and revitalizing Delft Blue and old Dutch craft using new ideas for shapes and decoration."

-the killing of the piggy bank-
"The vase represents a digital age of currency and the approach to extinction for physical money. The vase illustrates the precise moment the piggy bank is struck"

Baccarat by Hayon

The Baccarat Zoo by Hayon

"In the style of a crystal menagerie, thought like an astonishing bestiary, Jaime Hayon signs in 2011 the Baccarat ZOO. A collection in the spirit of its Crystal Set Candy designed in 2009 and its Candy Light launched at the Milan Furniture Fair in 2011. Thereby continues the parade of material combinations. Halfway between a glamorous sweet box and a decorative object, Hayon combines the sparkle of crystal with porcelain and gives birth to a wildlife triptych, both playful and democratic."

Crystal Candy Set by Hayon

"The opportunity to research and exercise creative possibilities along with Baccarat led to the creation of the Crystal Candy Set. The approach was guided by the search for exquisite color and material combinations. With these pieces, I wanted to replicate the richness of fresh tropical fruit using crystal and other materials, such as ceramics. Using a variety of textures and thicknesses, a new game of reflection has been accomplished with each of the 9 characters that make up the collection. Diverse crystal cutting techniques can be appreciated throughout the collection. They result in a series of soft, feminine shapes with touch of humor. Fruity inspirations are mixed with gem like features: pineapples, pomegranates, golf balls and water drops are some of the ideas explored. The pieces are a limited edition of 25. "

The Fantasy Collection by Hayon

"The creations in The Fantasy collection which Jaime Hayon has designed for Lladro, mirror the perfect fusion between the artistic quality of the Spanish porcelain brand and the playful, fantasy quality the designer brings to his works. The balance between expression and function, the studied combination of Lladros usual themes and the magic of the unexpected that Hayon is known for, make these pieces truly original objects that, over and above their decorative potential, awaken a sense of fantasy in the beholder. Gaia & Gino by Hayon

Valencia by Hayon

"New collection of candle holders in optical glass for Gaia and Gino. "

Grid Vases by Hayon

"Grid is an eye-catching vase collection manufactured by Turkish artisans, bestowed with hundreds of years of experience in copper craftsmanship. It combines contemporary design with Turkish sensibility. "The Grid vase, was inspired by a combination of city influences. Since moving to London, I have been fascinated by British history and the strong medieval atmosphere when I walk through the streets. I became fascinated by tales of the knights Templar and the Tudors and the endlessly rich history surrounding me. I came up with vases, inspired by suits of armor, helmets and fencing masks. My trip to Turkey was also relevant. I had visited the city and the beauty I had seen in Islamic arts and crafts was very inspirational. Strong yet fancy armor and the essence of these two cities are very much behind this set of vases."

Piper-Heidsieck by Hayon

Piper-Heidsieck by Hayon

"Piper-Heidsieck requested an object that would both be utilitarian and elegant, able to capture their "Extravaganza" spirit, the word they use to describe the brand's personality, a combination between sophistication and creativity. Jaime Hayon's fantasy was the sort of input they wanted. The project, a mix of past and future, was the result of this collaboration. The Seau and Vasque, champagne containers, were released in late 2006. "
